The architectural composition is of three hierarchical planes that extend beyond lightweight, vertical elements into the surrounding landscape.

Sleeping accommodation is laid out to the east and west of the central open plan living area; while the north-south axis is a carefully composed sequence of spaces that begins with the sweeping driveway approach and sheltered entrance porch, and culminates on the south facing terrace that overlooks the pool, sloped garden and views beyond.
